 Forgotten or Changing E-mail Password

Due to security concerns passwords cannot be changed over
the phone or sent by e-mail.

Staff who forgot their password are requested to come personally to IT Services Reception and present their ID Card/Passport so that a new password will be generated.

Students who forgot their e-mail password, can reset their password using the personal activation code indicated on the University acceptance letter they received at the beginning of their course. The password can be reset here.

Students who have misplaced their acceptance letter are requested to come personally to IT Services Reception and present their ID Card/Passport so that a new password will be generated.

All IT Services users can change their password at:

http://www.its.um.edu.mt/password

Users will be prompted to enter their IT Services User Id, their current password and the new password.

Passwords should be at least 6 characters long. It is advisable to include characters in uppercase and lowercase, and also numbers. This will make it difficult for others to guess your password.

Please note: The new password will apply for all facilities (use of IT Services workstations, eSIMS, IT Services Remote Access, uploading web pages to IT Services web servers etc.) requiring use of the IT Services password.
