- Staff & students may wish to set up
automatic forwarding of e-mails from their University address to
another e-mail address of their choice. Note that the IT Services might not be
able to assist with e-mail problems that involve external systems.
Users should also consider the privacy and/or reliability of external
e-mail systems before setting up e-mail forwarding.
E-mail
forwarding is particularly useful for staff responsible for
departmental
(faculty, department, institute, committee etc.) e-mail accounts. Such
staff should make arrangements for incoming mail to be forwarded to
someone that can handle these in their absence.
