How do I change my IT Services lab account password?

It is important to change your password the first time you log on an IT Services computer. You can change your password here.

Here you will be prompted for your IT Services User Id, your current password and the new password. You will need to confirm the new password.

Passwords should be at least 6 characters long. It is advisable to include characters in uppercase and lowercase, and also numbers. This will make it difficult for others to guess your password.

Please note: The new password will be set for this IT Services User Id. for all IT services (use of computers maintained by the IT Services, IT Services Staff Dial-up Service, uploading webpages to the IT Services web servers etc.) requiring use of the IT Services password.

Do not disclose your IT Services password to anyone. In case of doubt do not hesitate to change your password. Access to your password enables anyone to view your personal data, and to make use of the resources allocated to you.

If you forget your password call personally at IT Services Reception desk to be allocated a new password. Valid identification (ID. Card or Passport) must be presented.
