Protecting your Computer System
 
To reduce the risk of damage to your computer modem or other hardware please remember to disconnect the computer (modem) from the telephone line when not in use.

During a thunderstorm it is advisable not to use your computer and to isolate your computer as much as possible by unplugging it from the mains supply and disconnecting it from the telephone line.
