- An academic licence entitles
members of staff or other persons authorised by the University of Malta to use
the software for the purposes of the normal business of the University.
Such use of the software includes the following:

- Teaching;
- Research;
- Personal educational development;
- Administration and management of
the business of the University of Malta;
- Development work associated with
any of the above.

Academic use does not include
consultancy or services leading to commercial exploitation of the software.

Note: "commercial exploitation" is the use of software
for monetary gain by recipient.
