The CSC has recently been accredited as a testing centre for the European
Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Advanced. At present ECDL Advanced is available
for word processing and spreadsheets. Details on ECDL Advanced courses and tests
will be published in due course.

The CSC has been instructed not to accept
SMGB (Stipends) card payments after the 27th July 2002. The scheme is expected to be in
operation again as from September 2002.

Starting 1st May 2002, Maltacom
numbers will only work if the prefix 21 is included in front of six-digit numbers. This
change will also affect connections to the CSC dial-up (including WebSave) service.
Concurrent with this process, CSC is also phasing out the 347070 and 863470 dial-up
